Evaluations
Do you have a referral from a doctor? Has more than a year passed since the last evaluation and you need updated data? We offer a range of evaluations, including comprehensive speech and language assessments, where we assess expressive and receptive language skills, articulation, phonology, and social communication abilities. Additionally, we specialize in Augmentative and Alternative Communication evaluations, exploring AAC options for individuals who may benefit from alternative modes of communication.
Our Approach to Therapy
We are dedicated to providing individualized, one-on-one speech therapy services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. Our speech services use a customized approach to developing speech and language skills.
We offer therapy session that fit your need. In home, local community locations (locally near Northport, NY), or online. Our sessions range from 30 to 45 minutes.

Speech sound Disorders
We help our clients learn new speech sounds, refine their speech sound accuracy, increase their overall intelligibility, and use more fluent speech patterns during engaging practice activities. Our collaborative therapy approach gets caregivers, teachers, and family members involved in order to support speech at home and school!

Alternative & Augmentative Communication
We are highly trained in AAC strategies and technologies, ensuring that we can introduce and implement a range of tools, from low-tech options like picture-based communication boards to high-tech AAC devices with voice output. We work closely with you and your child to assess their communication skills, identify the most suitable AAC system, and provide comprehensive training and support to help them effectively use their chosen method.
American Sign Language Classes
Our curriculum is carefully designed to cater to all levels of proficiency. Beginners will embark on a step-by-step adventure, mastering essential vocabulary, grammar, and facial expressions. Intermediate and advanced learners can delve deeper into ASL linguistics, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances, broadening their understanding of the rich deaf culture that ASL encompasses.
Language Delays & disorders
We use motivating activities and targeted language tasks to help our clients effectively communicate with others. We specialize in natural language acquisition, but also support all language domains, including written, alternative communication and spoken language skills for comprehension, expression, and social advocacy.
Autism & Special Needs
Communication challenges go hand in hand with autism and special needs children. We are experienced in working with children on the spectrum, understanding their unique ways of processing information, expressing themselves, and engaging with the world around them. We addresses both core communication difficulties and the behavioral aspects that often accompany autism and special needs.
Deaf & Hard of hearing children
The unique communication needs of deaf and hard of hearing children can be difficult to navigate. Our highly skilled speech therapists specializes in working with this population, providing a holistic approach that encompasses both (American Sign Language (ASL) and auditory verbal therapy (AVT). Each child & family is different and requires a specialized approach.
